Second research seminar at the Institute of Social Studies

The research seminar series continues at the Institute of Social Studies. The second seminar will take place on 27 October at 14:15 in Room 207, Lossi 36. The event will be held in English.

The following doctoral students and reviewers will take part in the second seminar:

• Anna Helena Liiv, „Industrial disaster and microbial life: The politics of bioremediation in pollution zones of late socialist Estonia“ (reviewer Bogdana Androsjuk)
• Liina Maurer, „Sustainability front-runners? Comparing the Evolution of Industrial Modernity in the Nordic-Baltic region“ (reviewer Ingeliis Siimsen).

Within the framework of the seminar series, doctoral researchers of the institute will present the academic articles that they are currently working on. Each seminar will have a thematic focus, either centred on a specific topic or dedicated to the research of the doctoral students from of one the institute's research groups.

The format is built upon the former doctoral seminars, but is now open to all interested participants!
